Our Officiants

We are registered under the "The Marriage Act of Ontario", and are certified to perform legal marriages. We work as a team and follow the same process, theory and approach in conducting and creating, spiritual, or interfaith wedding ceremonies. We are the York Region office of the Clergy Support Memorial Church, a registered charity with the Federal Government. York Region Pastoral Charge, supports the Clergy Support Network; a national organization that in turn assist clergy and their families who are in need.


John McKibbon's professional career was in Hospital Chaplaincy although he is a former United Church minister. He currently devotes much of his retirement time to coordinating weddings for the professional team of officiants at York Region Weddings. John is also the in house Officiant for Madsen's of Newmarket!

John was elected into Canada's Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2002 and he was an Olympic athlete. He has a Masters degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelors Degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury. Rev. McKibbon has lived and conducted ceremonies in York Region for the past 35 years.

Jeffrey McQueen



Jeff McQueen has been with us since 1996. He is a graduate from Ryerson in Toronto and is a lay Chaplain who is licensed through All Seasons Weddings and the Clergy Support Memorial Church by the Register General of Ontario.

Jeff has lived in York Region for most of his life and currently resides in Holland Landing. He is an experienced wedding Officiant and he and his wife  Daniela are the parents of two children.





                           Richard Moore

Richard Moore, a lay minister who lives in Mont Albert,  joined our York Region Wedding team in 2015. He is licensed by the Registered General of Ontario to conduct non denominational, civil and spiritual ceremonies.  

We know that you will be pleased with Richard. He is great guy and is very good at helping couples prepare and plan their personalize ceremony. The ceremony will be a enjoyable experience for all. Money back guaranteed!

Richard received the Canada 125 medal from the Governor General of Canada for his outstanding volunteer work and the many contributions he has made to his community. Coaching various sports, working with various community organizations and sitting on the Accessibility Advisory Committee for the Town of East Gwillimbury are just a few examples of his community involvement!
